Job Summary

The Gettysburg College Health Sciences Department invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach the laboratory sections of our undergraduate anatomy and physiology courses during the Spring 2026 semester. The course emphasizes the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, digestive, reproductive, and endocrine systems of the human body. Responsibilities include leading laboratory sessions, guiding students in hands-on learning, assessing student performance, and facilitating a supportive learning environment. The adjunct faculty member will work collaboratively with the course instructor and student peer learning associates to support student success.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree (or ABD) in human anatomy, human physiology, or a closely related discipline. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
