Job Summary and Qualifications

You will play a vital role in our Cardiac Cath Lab team as a certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Your technical expertise will assist Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists in delivering exceptional cardiac care. You will ensure proper setup, accurate monitoring, and quality data collection during procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One of the following: a year of full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience; an Associate Degree in a related field; or graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • Completion of ongoing training and competencies specific to patient needs, including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, peripheral angiography, and other interventional procedures.
  • Preferred: Two years of full-time experience in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Required Certifications: You must hold one of the following credentials: ARRT or one of the certifications such as RCIS, RCES, or equivalent qualifications.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Identify cardiac structures and disease processes accurately.
  • Practice radiation safety and comply with regulations.
  • Assist in data collection for hemodynamic measurements.
  • Ensure procedural data is archived accurately for long-term storage.
