They are looking for a temp to possibly perm Marketing/Administrative Assistant for their office in Northern VA.
In this role you would provide support and assistant to the marketing and sales team. Your responsibilities would include welcoming visitors, answering phone calls and email, processing invoices, creating files, maintaining the marketing database, and preparing sales kits. You would also assist with planning and coordinating events, including securing a venue, coordinating catering, room set up, valet parking, and researching and coordinating entertainment and presenters, overseeing the event budget and expenditures, and compiling best practices and post-event analyses. You would be responsible for production and distribution of sales and marketing materials, producing reports, and analyzing effectiveness of marketing. You would also work with the Move-In Coordinator for new residents, coordinating scheduling and vendor relations. Finally, you would be responsible for maintaining marketing collateral material and logo merchandise. You must have some office administration experience (including Excel), be personable, energetic and organized, and enjoy helping others. You must understand and enjoy marketing and sales and have some event planning experience.
