Summary

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior aesthetics of Carson Tahoe Health owned or leased propertiey by performing skilled painting work. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Cason Tahoe Health safety and cleanliness standards. The painter will work closely with the facilities and maintenance teams to ensure that the hospital environment remains clean, professional, and welcoming.

Qualifications

Required:

• Two (2) years of journeyman painter experience
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, use of painting equipment
• Experience working with various types of paints and finishes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting, including proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Knowledge of reading and following blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions
• Ability to work individually or with a team, including but not limited to, effective communication
• Valid unrestricted Driver's License

Preferred:

• Two (2) years of commercial painter experience
• Two (2) years of painter experience in a healthcare setting
