The Regional Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the performance of multiple convenience store locations, emphasizing excellence in food service and operational execution. This leader is accountable for driving revenue growth, maintaining food safety compliance, and coaching store managers to achieve financial and performance targets. This is a full-time, 50-hour per week, exempt position. Location: Central Mississippi (Travel Required)

Ideal Candidate:

  • A dynamic leader with 1 - 3 years' experience as a Regional Operations Manager.
  • Experience in the convenience store, retail, food service, or general customer service sectors is highly desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations for 5-7 store locations, focusing on food service growth, quality, and execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower Store Managers to meet operational goals, enhance guest experiences, and boost profitability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer feedback, safety, labor, and cost management.
  • Conduct weekly visits to each store, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement and manage promotional and merchandising initiatives across all locations consistently.
  • Work in partnership with HR to recruit, onboard, and nurture high-performing team members.
  • Effectively resolve operational or personnel issues, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Analyze financial and operational data at the store level to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and ongoing development.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including ADA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience leading multiple units, preferably in convenience retail, food service, or QSR settings.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety practices, labor management, and operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Effective analytical skills with a focus on using data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or retail operations software.
  • Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel frequently throughout the designated region.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Frequent travel between store locations (up to 80% of the time).
  • Occasionally requires ascension/descension of stairs, ladders, or stockroom platforms during store visits.
  • Capability to navigate retail and kitchen environments effectively.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Total Compensation:

  • Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
  • Quarterly Bonus: $2,500 - $3,000
