We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Tree Care Technician. This full-time position provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in tree trimming, climbing, and public safety while working outside in diverse conditions.

Position Overview

  • $600 Sign-On Bonus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely trim and remove trees using ladders, safety gear, and climbing techniques. You will be responsible for cutting branches and lowering them safely to the ground.
  • Utilize essential tools for felling trees and precisely manage the wood into manageable sizes.
  • Apply chemical treatments to prevent stump and brush growth.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks with logs, stumps, and other debris, while maintaining a clean work area.
  • Help with repairing minor damages to surroundings such as lawns and fences.
  • Direct traffic on job sites and operate equipment as needed while ensuring site safety.
  • Coach new team members on effective tree trimming procedures.
  • Work diligently to protect both crew members and the public from potential hazards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and safe manner.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on rough terrain.
  • Assist with safety practices to promote job site safety among team members.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 months of experience with tree trimming or clearing operations, or successful completion of required performance evaluations.
  • Commitment to safety protocols on the job.
  • Capability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Able to enter and exit a vehicle multiple times a day.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to represent Wright Tree Service professionally.
  • Physical capability to lift and manage weights up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays during emergencies.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Current First-Aid and CPR certification.
  • Completion and passing of the Climber Trainee Performance Review.
