Weekend Home Care Aide/CNA. Job in Salt Lake City Top Essex Careers

Home Instead is on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate CAREGivers and CNA's to join our team on weekends and help us fulfill our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community.

At Home Instead, we offer a range of non-medical services that enable seniors to remain in their homes while navigating the challenges of aging with dignity and care. We are seeking Caregivers and CNA's who are available to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

CAREGiver employment benefits include:

• Starting pay ranging from $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, with an additional dollar for weekend shifts

Key responsibilities for CAREGivers include:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering medication and appointment reminders
• Helping with grooming and bathing tasks
• Supporting clients with toileting and incontinence care
• Offering specialized care for dementia and Alzheimer's patients

*No prior experience is necessary, though preferred – training will be provided by Home Instead.*

To qualify as a CAREGiver, you should:

• Demonstrate respect and dignity while caring for seniors and their property
• Be able to communicate in a friendly and congenial manner
• Pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
• Hold a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Be at least 18 years old
